From mentorship and scholarship opportunities to hands-on workshops facilitated by our industry partners, we are intentional in our efforts that are designed to shape and empower the next generation of engineers and leaders.

LSAMP
The goal of the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program at Georgia Tech is to focus on the retention of underrepresented minority students through completion of their baccalaureate degrees and to expose this group of students to research careers in STEM.
NACME
Georgia Tech partners with the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME) in its mission to increase representation of Black/African American, Latinx/Hispanic American and Native American professionals in engineering and computer science.
P2P
The Peer 2 Peer Mentoring Program (P2P) is open to all students with a focus on students who are traditionally underrepresented in STEM fields, including African Americans, Hispanic/Latinx students, Native Americans, and Pacific Islanders.
RISE
The Retaining Inspirational Students in Engineering (RISE) Scholarship program helps recruit and retain minority and nontraditional engineering students.
SURE
The Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering/Sciences (SURE) program is a 10-week summer experience that places undergrads in Georgia Tech labs to conduct research. The goal is to encourage qualified, underrepresented minority students to consider graduate school in STEM fields.
